VITVerse is a student-made, non-commercial, and educational feedback platform built for academic purposes.

It is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) or any of its departments.

Its sole purpose is to facilitate constructive student feedback about faculty and learning experiences.

All faculty information displayed on VITVerse has been collected ethically and legally from publicly accessible sources, including but not limited to the VIT official website, VTOP, and other verified academic resources.

The data includes only official, professional faculty details such as names, designations, and departments.

All such data is owned exclusively by VIT and is used by VITVerse only for legitimate educational and informational purposes.

No private, personal, or sensitive faculty information has been accessed, stored, or distributed by VITVerse.

VITVerse operates using Google authentication and data services.

Therefore, the Terms and Conditions of Google are also applicable to all users of VITVerse.

The VITVerse team only has access to the google name and email ID associated with each user’s account.

No additional personal data is collected from Google accounts.

Users are entirely responsible for the reviews, comments, and feedback they post.

All opinions expressed are solely those of individual users and do not represent the views of the VITVerse developers, administrators, or VIT.

Users agree not to post defamatory, false, or offensive material.

Misuse of the platform (including impersonation, spamming, or malicious activity) may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal of access.

Users who choose to post anonymously will have their identities and data kept strictly confidential.

Such information will not be disclosed to any individual, organization, or institution under any circumstances.

Any student data shared with the consent of the student is strictly confidential and will never be shared or sold to any entity.

The VITVerse developers and administrators are not responsible for defending, endorsing, or verifying any user-submitted content.

All user-generated content reflects the opinions of the author only.

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developers and administrators from any liability or claim arising from their content.

The style, layout, design, visual appearance, and overall presentation of the VITVerse website are the intellectual property of the VITVerse development team.

Copying, reproducing, redistributing, or using any portion of the website’s design, code, interface, structure, or styling without written permission from the developers is strictly prohibited.

Although faculty data displayed on VITVerse is owned by VIT, obtaining, copying, scraping, or redistributing such data from the VITVerse website is strictly prohibited.

Any unauthorized reproduction, duplication, or extraction of data or design elements from the VITVerse platform will constitute a violation of intellectual property rights and may lead to disciplinary or legal action.

You agree to use VITVerse solely for educational and ethical purposes.

You must not: attempt to gain unauthorized access, use automated scraping tools, or misuse the site in any way that affects its integrity or other users.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VITVerse, its student developers, and administrators shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, loss of data, or reputational harm resulting from use of the website or its content.
